Build the thing that gets people hired
We are a small remote team building a technical academy that has to be honest about tuition, teaching and outcomes to be worth anything. That constraint shapes most of what we do.
How we work
What it is like
Four things that are true of every role here, so you can tell early whether it would suit you.
Remote, with real overlap
Everyone works from where they live. We ask for a few hours of overlap so that decisions do not take three days, and we keep meetings rare enough that the rest of your day is yours.
Small team, wide scope
You will own things end to end, including the parts that are not in your job title. That is the trade for having very little process in the way.
Written before verbal
Decisions get written down with the reasoning attached. It is slower in the moment and much faster three months later when someone asks why.
We cut scope, not corners
When something will not fit, we ship less of it properly rather than all of it badly. That applies to features and to curriculum.
Open roles
Where we are hiring
Every role is remote unless it says otherwise, and every posting lists the salary range.
No open roles right now
We hire in small bursts and we do not post roles we are not ready to fill. If you would be a good fit for a team like ours, send a note anyway. We keep speculative applications on file and we read every one before we open a search.

How we hire
Four steps, usually inside three weeks. We tell you where you stand at every stage.
Step one
You send a note
A short email about what you have built and why this is interesting to you. A CV or profile link is fine. We read all of them and reply either way.
Step two
A conversation about the work
Forty-five minutes on what you have actually done and what you want next. Not a quiz, and no puzzle questions.
Step three
A paid work sample
A small, realistic piece of work, scoped to a few hours, that resembles the job. We pay for your time on it. No unpaid take-homes, no free labour.
Step four
Meet the team, then an offer
You meet the people you would work with and get to ask the awkward questions. If it is a yes, we make the offer with the salary and the reasoning behind the number.
Equal opportunity
Everyone gets the same process
We hire without regard to race, colour, national origin, ethnicity, religion, sex, pregnancy, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, genetic information, marital status or veteran status. If you need an adjustment at any stage of the process, tell us and we will make it. You do not need to explain why.
Nothing listed that fits?
Tell us what you have built and what you would want to own here. We read speculative applications properly, and we keep them on file for when a search opens.
